Introducing the TeleScoop™

The TeleScoop™ dog waste collector is a device to make collecting dog waste as convenient as possible. It is carried with you as you walk your dog and the dog’s leash is connected to it. When the dog is ready to do his business, you simply pull the trigger above the handle, the front door opens and a compression-loaded telescoping rod springs forward with a plastic basket lined with a disposable bag and pull-to-close tie. The plastic bucket has adhesive strips in it to hold the bags in securely. Once the bag is loaded, you simply pull the string which tightens/closes the bag. You then tilt the device upward and the loose telescoping rod collapses back into device into its original position. Once you return home you remove the disposable bag with a little tug and the bag comes out ready to be replaced.

The device has many convenient features. There is a flashlight at the end, which can be very handy at night for you and your pet. On the left side of the device is a retractable leash. If you already have another leash it can be easily attached to the bottom via a metal swivel ring. On the right side is a storage slot for quickly dispensing bags. Next to that is a clip for clipping the device to your belt when two hands are needed. The handle doubles as a treat dispenser. It is made of a clear hard acrylic that shows you how many treats you have left.

The process is easy and quick, simply pull the trigger, extend the basket, pull the string tie, bring the basket back into the device and continue on your way. You dispose of the bag once back at your original location while eliminating the embarrassment and drudgery of stooping to pick up your pet’s waste. Reduce the need to see or smell the mess to a minimum with the TeleScoop™ dog waste collector!

About the Inventor

James Diskin
The TeleScoop™

The inventor, James Diskin of Belmont, CA had an idea to help people with limited mobility and others who walk their dogs including those that use the aid of a mobility scooter to get around (being able to collect the waste while seated can be a game changer). James contacted the Mars Rising Network and had a provisional and design patent application led and had the invention designed properly so that he may see success with this great idea and turn it into a real product. He is actively seeking a company that would have an interest in licensing the product for a royalty.
